Design Your Custom Desk
Work from home in style with a desk tailored to your specifications. Choose from popular standard sizes or customise dimensions to fit your space perfectly.
Edge Profile: Our standard chamfered edges add an elegant touch, but straight edges are available through customisation.
Thickness: Each desk is a solid 25mm, offering durability and stability.
Length: We offer desktops up to 240cm long. For lengths of 190cm or more, we recommend adding a support beam.
Corner Radius: Rounded corners are available in three radii options.
Finish: Birch ply edges are smoothly sanded and finished with Danish oil, while the laminated top offers a sleek, hard-wearing surface that’s easy to clean.
How to Order Your Custom Desk
1) PICK A SIZE: Select one of the standard sizes or one of the 'Custom' options: enter your desired width and length.
2) CHOOSE A COLOUR: Select one of our Formica favourites or select 'More' to add a Formica code.
3) ADD 60mm CABLE HOLES: Select Left, Middle, Right or None.
4) SELECT FRONT CORNERS STYLE: Select 3mm, 10mm, or 50mm radii.
5) SELECT BACK CORNERS STYLE: Select 3mm, 10mm, or 50mm radii.
6) SELECT STRAIGHT EDGES: Select Left, Right, Front, or Back.
7) SELECT LEGS: Navigate to LEGS to see our elegant leg options.
Formica Laminate
Formica is a trusted high-pressure laminate renowned for its resilience, ideal for daily use. Our desks are finished with Formica Matte58, a lightly textured matte surface that’s smooth to the touch. Samples of Matte58 are available on the Formica website here. Each desk underside is finished with a matte white liner laminate for a clean and consistent look.
Birch Ply
Our desks feature high-quality Birch ply sourced from Riga Wood in Latvia. This sustainably sourced plywood is made using Riga ECOlogical resin, which incorporates bio-based, renewable lignin, reducing reliance on fossil-based phenols. This eco-conscious choice aligns with our commitment to sustainability without compromising on durability.
Delivery to most of mainland UK is included in the price you see. For deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland, please email info@plyzen.co.uk before placing an order to get a delivery cost.

If you are on a tight deadline, please contact us before ordering. We will try our best to meet your deadline if our workshop schedule allows.
We use DPD and Proovia for most desktops, DPD for legs, and pallet delivery for larger desktop and kitchen fronts. At checkout, please provide your email address and mobile phone number so the courier can update you with delivery information.
Desktops sent with DPD and Proovia are packaged in a crate and will need to be unscrewed. With the packaging, larger desktops can weigh up to 60kg. Please make sure you are able to receive an item of this weight and size. The rigidity of this packaging is required to protect the desktop through the courier network.
DPD or Proovia will usually contact you with a delivery time slot. You are able to change this time with DPD or Proovia directly.
Standard pallet deliveries will not be at a specific time, they can be anytime 9am to 5pm. Pallets are delivered to kerbside only, so you will need to unpack and move items to your home. It is essential that you are able to receive the delivery. If the delivery is missed, we reserve the right to charge for redelivery up to £250 (This is imposed by the carrier). We do offer premium pallet delivery options:
- A three-hour window within the span of 10am – 5pm (Eg 1-4pm) for £21.
- A specific delivery time within the span of 10am - 5pm for £41. Delivery can be be either 30 mins before or 30 mins after chosen time.

In the unlikely event that there is visible damage to the parcel or pallet packaging, please indicate this to the driver. For pallet deliveries, also note the damage on the delivery paperwork. If parts are damaged or missing in transit, please let us know within 24hrs of the delivery time, this way we can claim for damages with the carrier. Beyond this time, we can't pursue a claim and we'll assume all parts have been delivered without damage.
