A-grade European Crown Oak book matched veneer on each face of a 13-ply birch ply core. We use the best Oak veneer available, and the book-matched formation creates beautiful grain symmetry. After sanding, we spray with a grain embellishing base coat followed by a premium matt lacquer which achieves a natural finish.

Birch Veneer Faced Poplar Ply

Birch veneer faced-poplar ply. Superior grade rotary cut birch ply veneers with a 13-ply poplar core. We use the highest grade birch veneers with beautiful tone and grain figuration. We sand smooth and then spay with a premium matt lacquer which achieves a natural and elegant finish.

American Crown Black Walnut Faced Birch Ply

A-grade American Crown Black Walnut bookmatched veneer on each face of a 13-ply birch ply core.Our premium Walnut veneer has rich colour tones and striking grain patterns, making it an exceptionally attractive choice for kitchen fronts. After sanding, we spray with a grain embellishing base coat followed by a premium matt lacquer which achieves a natural finish.

Fenix

This innovative ultra-matt laminate features next-generation acrylic resins that enable the seamless recovery of superficial micro scratches.

It's important to note that while Fenix possesses remarkable thermal healing abilities, we still recommend using a cutting board during food preparation to prevent direct cutting on the surface. This precautionary measure ensures the longevity of your worktop and maintains its impeccable condition.

Formica

Formica laminate is built to withstand the rigors of daily kitchen activities. Formica is the original high-pressure laminate and is known for its incredible durability.

Available in a vast array of classic and modern colours, you will find the perfect style to enhance your kitchen's visual appeal.

We use the Formica Matte58 finish which is lightly textured surface finish that is smooth to the touch. Samples of the Matte58 finish can be obtained directly from the Formica website.

Dispatch and Delivery

Delivery to most of mainland UK is included in the price you see. For deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland, please email info@plyzen.co.uk before placing an order to get a delivery cost.

Typically, our dispatch times are:

Legs	2-4 weeks
Desktops	4 weeks
Raw kitchen fronts	4 weeks
Laminated and veneered kitchen fronts	6-8 weeks
Lacquered Kitchen fronts	6-8 weeks

If you are on a tight deadline, please contact us before ordering. We will try our best to meet your deadline if our workshop schedule allows.

We use DPD for most desktops and legs, and pallet delivery for larger desktop and kitchen fronts. At checkout, please provide your email address and mobile phone number so the courier can update you with delivery information.

Desktops sent with DPD are packaged in a crate and will need to be unscrewed. With the packaging, larger desktops can weigh up to 35kg. Please make sure you are able to receive an item of this weight and size. The rigidity of this packaging is required to protect the desktop through the courier network.

DPD will usually contact you with a delivery time slot. You are able to change this time with DPD directly.

Standard pallet deliveries will not be at a specific time, they can be anytime 9am to 5pm. Pallets are delivered to kerbside only, so you will need to unpack and move items to your home. It is essential that you are able to receive the delivery. If the delivery is missed, we reserve the right to charge for redelivery up to £250 (This is imposed by the carrier). We do offer premium pallet delivery options:

A three-hour window within the span of 10am – 5pm (Eg 1-4pm) for £21.
A specific delivery time (+/- 30mins) for £41.

In the unlikely event that there is visible damage to the parcel or pallet packaging, please indicate this to the driver. For pallet deliveries, also note the damage on the delivery paperwork. If parts are damaged or missing in transit, please let us know within 24hrs of the delivery time, this way we can claim for damages with the carrier. Beyond this time, we can't pursue a claim and we'll assume all parts have been delivered without damage.

We also offer collection from our workshop in Lewes, East Sussex. Please select this option at checkout.

Returns Policy

Damaged Goods Please inspect your item upon delivery and report it to us immediately with photos of the damage. We We will provide replacement parts as soon as possible. Claims Should you have any problem with your order as explained above, then please send an email to info@plyzen.co.uk with your Order ID and photos if applicable. Each case is examined and dealt with accordingly.

Kitchen Fronts Information

We supply doors, drawer fronts, cover panels and custom panels. Our fronts come pocketed and drilled to fit Ikea hinges and drawer mechanisms.

Once you have your kitchen design in the IKEA kitchen planner, you can either request help from us to choose your doors from your plan for a fee or go through our product pages that contain IKEA’s kitchen front collection and add them one by one to your cart.

Our fronts are available with handles or blank for use with push to open mechanisms or handles of your own choice. Routed handles are £39 for J profile, £29 for Finger pull & Circular. If available on desired door Hinges and Handle placements will appear as a variant option.

It can take weeks, even months to fit a complete new kitchen, whereas you can quickly replace your kitchen doors in just a day or so.

Fitting replacement kitchen doors is a simple and straightforward DIY project which can be attempted by anyone with a reasonable level of experience.

It’s cleaner and a lot less hassle for you

Replacing your kitchen cupboard doors has almost none of the mess and disruption associated with fitting a complete kitchen.

Replacement kitchen doors are less wasteful

Nobody likes creating unnecessary waste, and ripping out a perfectly good kitchen just to change the style or colour of the doors is not only wasteful, but it's expensive too.

We double check the packed pallet before sending. In the unlikely event that there is visible damage to the pallet packaging, please indicate this to the driver on the delivery paperwork. Desktop sizes

We offer a range of desktops at standard sizes but if you can not find a size to suit your requirements we can make one to the exact dimensions you need. Custom sizes will cost the same price as the closest standard size we offer. Please note extra large desk tops may incure an additional delivery charge. Please input your desired dimensions when placing your order.

Desk Customisation Options

Our desk tops are chamfered around all 4 sides. If you would like 1 or more edges of your desk to be cut without the chamfer that is no problem. Please specify which ones when ordering.
